The installation of my new IRS in my car went well but I’ll now need to set the camber. Can anyone tell me what it should be on a Hawk and a rough idea how much each shim will change it?
Thanks
Simon

Re: Rear camber
I've got mine set around 1/2 degree negative now
You get rather good at undoing the drive shaft nuts. I used a set of none lock nuts to set it up and then swapped to a set of lock nuts when I had enough shims. I think there's about 12 on one side and 14 on the other. It is trial and error but each shim kicks the top out about a mil.

Re: Rear camber
Thanks Stu, that was my idea too, bought some non locknuts specifically for setting up......now can’t find them!
Without any shims it’s about -6 degrees....

That would make it look like a Triumph Herald!

-6 degrees is negative camber if you want the Herald look you need positive camber. Just saying.

Re: Rear camber
The factory figure for a 289 Cobra was -0.5-1.0˚, but obviously that was for a completely different suspension geometry to a Hawk - one that actually did have some similarity to a Triumph Herald's.
