Anybody know the thread size of these bolts that hold the adaptors to the wheels on an FIA?

Simon, sorry can’t help as I have never needed to change them.
A decent fastener company should be able to measure it and advise. I have on occasion been unsure of a thread type and my local nut and bolt supplier have willingly measured and advised accordingly. Of course they have the corresponding nut to double check.
Have you had them come loose and shear one or something?
It’s never occurred me to need to check them but do I now need to check mine?

They all came out today while I was driving!
My own fault. After the same issue with the rears, I thought I had checked the fronts....I hadn’t!
Two of the bolts flew off at high speed on a dual carriageway, and although I stopped and checked there were no signs of what the noise was.
A short while later while driving much slower (10-15mph)
The front r/h spinner fell off after the car pulled violently to the left while braking and the wheel pretty much fell off. Managed to get it back on and tighten the spinner, then drove home using just the handbrake. Very, very lucky it didn’t detach itself at high speed after braking.
Just the thought of it scares the 5hit out of me. And totally my own fault. Muppet!

Don't know your thread size. I made my own ones and they are M12. But what I know for sure is that they have glued in with permanent Loctite.

My mistake, they are M12 bolts.
I take full responsibility for this.
The PO may possibly have never loctited the bolts in the first place! When I took both front wheels off, there were only 4 in the other side.
The adaptors are now secured with longer, high tensile bolts (6 each side!) and torqued up with high strength Loctite!.....let’s see the buggers come out now!
This is a basic safety check I should have done when I bought the car. I went through suspension and brake fittings, but missed out the adaptors...stupid mistake that could have killed me.

Every fastener on a my car is either a lock nut (all metal or traditional), castle nut with a split pin or loctited.

You can damage the inside of the wheel and the adapter maybe but you can't lose the wheel as long as the knock off spinner is tight.

This is what I was thinking. A bit like how a brake disc is held in place.
