Wiper motors

Post by kenv »

Hi all, still waiting for my urgent IVA test from July!
However I was checking the car over and discovered I'd only a roughly 90 degree sweep on the wiper blades, which needs to be 120 as I read it?
I've got a 105 tooth wheel in the motor currently and I have convinced myself that if I get the option with a greater number of teeth, say 125 degree, it will result in a greater swept area, does anyone know if this is correct, or have I got it backwards again?
I'd appreciate any views to either confirm or deny the reasoning.
Cheers
Regards
Ken

Hi Ken, you can get the correct gears from SVC and others like CBS car builder solutions.
