Hawk boot escutcheon

Post by simonjrwinter »

Not sure if I’ve described it right above, but could anyone show me some pictures of theirs?
Currently my boot lock handle “claw” goes into a hole in the glassfibre boot surround. I need to make up some sort of metal plate to make it more secure. (Should have taken a picture of my boot when I was at the garage I suppose...)

This is what was supplied by Gerry. (I think it came with the boot lock) I always intended to countersink it, but never got round to it.

Cheers, Clive.

(If I'm not here I'm in my workshop or on the golf course!)
