Morning gentlemen,
I've decided its about time I tried sorting out my wipers, they have never worked well.
Whereas I think I could put up with the motor rate, the blades dont seem to clear the screen fully.
I have a feeling that increasing the arm spring rate is the way forward, as that would at least push the blades onto the screen properly.
Has anyone tried this and got some idea on spring availablity and tension required.

Hi Allan,
What arms are you using? Mine are the slide adjustable ones that Gerry supplied but I think are available from Holdens https://www.holden.co.uk/p/5mm_bayonet_ ... e_straight
I have not experienced any problems with my wipers even at motorway speeds and in torrential rain whilst driving in France.

Re: Wipers
Yep those are the ones I have too and the spring rate is more than adequate with them.

Re: Wipers
I got mine from Gerry as well, similar but not the same. Are yours the 7mm Bayonet fitting, adjustable length? Mine are the 5mm therefore possibly weaker. I'll order a set of 7mm ones and try those.
Thanks for the feed back.
