Dash is in!

Post by simonjrwinter »

After waiting for two weeks for a wiper switch, it finally arrived today and I managed to get the dash re-installed after spraying....and everything works!
Not to everyone’s taste, but it suits me ( and if I ever sell it, the FIA dash will go with it) just need to finish off cutting my carpets before I can finish the interior off

Well done. Another step nearer being able to use the car and now you are entitled to drive somewhere to exercise or even meet another person.
I expect the dash it will be the same as any other project involving designing a layout. 6 months on and you will be questioning why you put that switch there or find a gauge that’s not quite so easy to see that you want to read more often.
I feel that every time I try to share the kitchen with the wife. Always bumping into each other as we both want the same space despite undertaking different tasks. As they say that’s life.
Having said that you have had previous experience in owning/ building Cobras so perhaps you have got it right this time?
