Ace colours and self-coloured grp?

Hi

Newbie question here.

Can you get the Hawk kit in gel coat colours apart from white? I quite quite fancy British Racing Green gel coat and then if budget allowed could spray on top later. I know it is a bit budget approach (h’appeny worth of tar etc) but thinking of options for an Ace build.

Also what colours did Aces come out of the factory including the Ford Zephyr engined ones? I fancy a nice flat period colour and finish, not too shiny.

Hi Mike,
Yes, I think you can but best ask Gerry at Hawk about that. I seem to remember seeing a red car that was polished gel coat, and it was quite convincing.
