I had it in my to go for a 6-2-1 exhaust manifold for my Hawk Ace build (Triumph straight 6). Gerry then told me about his exhaust which would connect to the stock manifold but should help with IVA compliance (noise and protrusion at the back?) and fitting. Interested in anyone's experience with alternatives - does a 6-2-1 fit in the engine bay OK? Does a sports exhaust designed for a TR6 or similar a) fit and b) get through IVA without too much pain?
I'm leaning towards path of least resistance (i.e. Gerry's exhaust) but I would be interested to hear anyone's experiences.
