Road racing clutch for a '62 AC Bristol

Post by BEX1213 »

Hello ACOC,
I am new to the club, and located near Los angeles California.
I have a 62' AC Bristol that I am having clutch problems
Would anyone be able to recommend a good Street/race replacement along with pressure plate, disc and release bearing?
Thanks a lot,
Robin

Hi Robin and welcome to The 289 Register.

I see from your post you are addressing the AC Owners Club which is a different organisation from ourselves. Whilst we have a number of original cars in our club, most are replicas, but hopefully someone might be able to answer your question.
If you want to try the ACOC their web address is www.acownersclub.co.uk

Good luck.
Cheers, Clive.

(If I'm not here I'm in my workshop or on the golf course!)

Hi Robin, I am an ex Bristol 400 owner (same engine as your Ace basically) and the clutch that I replaced in that was from an MGB.

Hi Robin. You need to check this thread on the ACOC FORUM, I know Keith (username AC Ace Bristol) has recently had clutch work done.
