Bush for steering rack

Post by Karl »

Need help on this!
Does somebody know where to get a bush for the MG B steering rack (part number 17 H 8664)?
Many have it on their website, but not in stock/no longer available/on back order. They must be around somewhere, as you can buy new/reconditioned racks everywhere.
Thanks for any helpful answer,
Karl

Hi Karl,

I called a couple of MG specialists in Scotland today, and as you say, they are not available at the moment and neither have them in stock or could tell me when they would be available.

Good luck with your search.

Hi Karl,
I assume you have tried both Rimmers and Moss. They are the only companies I gave used.

If you are desperate, could you perhaps have something machined in brass or other softer alloy?
