For sale unstarted Hawk 289 Sebring

Post by agnoraan »

This is for the a Hawk Sebring body and chassis, plus some of the important parts to go with that. I've other stuff like a LeMans hardtop, Aston 3.5" fuel filler cap, rebuilt Ford 302 engine, gearbox, Avon CR6ZZ tyres, seats, steering wheel, handbrake lever, some gauges etc etc, but this is the main part to get started. If anyone's intersted in this, then let me know and I'll itemise all of the other stuff and price that as well.

New Hawk Sebring body and chassis

Donor MGB GT with a V5 in my name

Seat belt mounting bracketry

L542 tail lights

Indicators

Side repeaters

Headlight backing bowls

Aero screen

Boot stay

Stainless bonnet stay (rose jointed)

Lockable bonnet catches and stainless receivers (with keys)

Boot handle with keys

Pedal box

Intermediate steering shaft for MGB steering to fit a Hawk

New suspension shims

Raydot style mirror and bracket for cowl

New nut and bolt kit

Aluminium fuel spillage shield

For all of the above I'm looking for £9250, this also includes the donor car, giving a saving in excess of £2000 which is considerably cheaper than if you were to buy the parts individually.

This is the car I was going to replicate, unfortunately, I have too much other work on to be able to do this project

Any queries please let me know & I'll try to answer them.

If you decide to split, there are a few parts i'd be interested in my friend.... Splash shield, bonnet and boot handles, aeroscreen and the handbrake lever

Thanks

Hi Si, sorry but I want to sell it complete as it makes it a more saleable item with all of the parts

Hi Nige,
Good luck with the sale. No doubt it’ll give the lucky buyer a lot of joy.
On another note, I’m interested in the seats if they’re available. Apologies if not as I wasn’t sure from your ad whether you’d be up for splitting the items you mention at the start.
Cheers

Hi Hamish, at this point id like to sell it all together. As I said, it makes it more saleable to someone not to have to find all of these parts. If however I sell just the body and chassis, then I would sell everything off separately
