Wanted - spare wheel
When I bought my wheels I only got 4 plus an aerosol repair can, and so am now on the hunt for a proper spare, to fit the splined hubs that come with the Hawk front / Jag rear suspension. As its a spare it does not need to be pristine - so long as it can get me out of trouble old and tatty will do fine. So if you have a surplus wheel in need of a good home would be happy to hear from you. Many thank. J

Re: Spare wheel
I carry an MGB 14" wheel/tyre (165x14) as a spare. No different to a modern car with a spacesaver. I recently had a puncture on a return trip to France and the spare was on the car for the last 100 miles, but it did look odd!
And of course there are plenty of MGB wheels on the secondhand market.

That’s OK if you do not have oversize disc brakes!
I only have 2-3 mm clearance on my 15” wheels.

Re: Spare wheel
I’m packing a 15” MGB wheel with 225/60/15 tyre. Fits in the boot fully inflated. Not quite the same circumference as the Avon 275/60/15 on the rear, but as I’m not on an LSD, I’m not too worried(And I know I made it from Chester to Silverstone with no ill effects...)

Re: Spare wheel
Obviously couldn't be bothered to wash it before posting!
Cheers, Clive.
