Pair of P700 ‘tripod’ headlamps - now SOLD

Post by Martin D-S »

I’m selling a pair of P700 Style 7" ‘Tripod’ H4 Halogen RHD Headlights.
These include new H4 60/55w halogen bulbs and the sidelight bulbs with their holders.
These have been used - they were fitted in my car for 18 months - approx 1500 miles.
Can deliver to T289R stand at the NEC Classic if it’s any help, but must know by Friday 0800.
£38 o.n.o. the pair.
Regards, Martin. (07972 282536)

Martin,
Out of interest whose make of headlight have you changed to.
I am just about to refit my P700’s as the Lucas PL700’s didn’t seem to be particularly good.
I’m hoping that some LED bulbs will improve the beam.

I ditched my tripod lights for Cibe Iodes with uprated PIAA bulbs. The P700 tripod lights do not have very well defined beams and the dip is straight down rather than to the left hand side.
Cheers, Clive.

Unfortunately the P700 lights are sometimes rejected at IVA due to not having a well defined beam pattern.
I've IVA'd two cars with them.
First one passed OK, second one I had to replace the lamps to get the pass.
They look great though.

They are not all the same as they are all reproductions from several suppliers. These dip left.

Sorry Martin, I wasn't referring to the ones you have, only mine.
