A friend of mine is selling his BRA 289 details are as follows;
Built circa 1981 using a 1966 donor vehicle, correctly registered with the DVLA as a BRA with historic vehicle status.
Rover 3.9 v8 engine built by Brian Wills of Kings Mews Racing.
MGC Rear axle with Quaife LSD and reverse eye springs to eliminate axle tramp.
Also fitted with discs on the rear.
Full weather equipment and a stainless steel exhaust system.
He has owned this car for the past 22 years and this sale is brought on by ill health.

I have a Mk1 BRA and I can see that this car is a Mk1. Have you any idea what the BRA number is ie BRA289?? It looks like a very nice car to me.

Very nice BRA. I also have a Mk1 BRA which was completed (by a previous owner) in 1990. As your car is a 1981 car it must be one of the first made, with an early serial number.

Apparently it is chassis number 8.

That is early, mine is no 54 with the kit being bought from BRA in 1985.
