New Member - Superformance MKII

Post by Sarge »

Hi all,

I've just put a deposit down on this car, and hopefully will be concluding the deal on Tuesday.

https://lemanscoupes.com/2021/05/28/hi- ... -for-sale/

I went out in it at Silverstone last week and was totally hooked! I'm very impressed with the build quality, being LHD (as I prefer) and having the injected engine will certainly help with economy on planned trips to Classic Le Man, Angouleme etc.

Cheers,

Stu

Hi Stu,

You will be very impressed with the car I'm sure. I originally placed a deposit on the same car a year ago but instead chose to put the money into a new home and bought a DB9 instead! There were some teething troubles with the car which Ollie and his Dad put right so I'm sure you will benefit from all those improvements.

By the way, I ordered some US-style plates plus chrome surrounds for the car which I'm happy to gift to you when we finally meet :D

I wish you well to drive the car,

Best,
Colin

Hi Colin,

Thanks for that. Yes, Nige & Ollie have been through the car since I tested in at Silverstone and on the road - primarily, they got an injection specialist in to set it up properly (it was way over-fuelled). It now runs a treat - though not done many miles yet, due to the weather!

Cheers,

Stu
