Cobra windscreen

Post by simonjrwinter »

Are Brasscraft the only UK manufacturer of screens now?
A screen from them is now almost £2000!!!

You never played Monopoly?!
Actually, a quick Google shows that Europa no longer sell the Brasscraft screens, and Pilgrim will only sell you tinted glass or a left hand upright (rather bizarrely).

2 possible options:
(a) Contact Anthony at Crendon Replicas, as he has muttered about alternatives once or twice, I don't know if anything came of it
(b) import something from the US, complete with authentic sharp edges.

Assuming you mean a complete windscreen assembly rather than just the glass?

I would be wary if you require an IVA compliant screen.

Out of interest, does anyone know if glass on its own is available. In my neck of the woods stone chips from sugar beet lorries is a common problem.?

Available from Europa Spares, but if you have windscreen damage cover on your insurance it ought not to be a problem.
