I'm planning on fitting some black Girling reservoirs and have been looking at the Holley EFI Sniper set up

Any thoughts?

Re: Winter projects
That looks interesting......does it need a high pressure supply and tank return?

Re: Winter projects
Yes and yes. There is a master kit that includes the pump, pre and post filter and I reckon it should be possible to fit a return stabbing close to or via the fuel level sender. They also do a dished air cleaner base that could be powder coated ford blue (or left in bling) that would solve any clearance issues that might show up. They do a clamp on exhaust mount for the O2 sensor although I'd get a stabbing welded in.
It is the tidiest system that I've seen to date. The ECU is built into the throttle body so wiring is kept to a minimum. They do a shiney version if black isn't your thing.
A colleague of mine builds cars from scratch and he built an atom type sprint car with an Audi 5 cylinder that produces 450 hp and was amazed at the difference the EFI brought by way of throttle response, extra hp, reduced fuel consumption and lower engine temps ( which are problems some of us share!).

Re: Winter projects
I have a MSD Atomic sitting on my desk . It's basically the same system with less fancy features...
I know several people running that system with success. To run it right, do some research in the forums, e.g a absolute leak free exhaust system is a must.

Re: Winter projects
I've got the GoEFI similar system on the Mustang very good it is too.
Easy to set up and self learning.

Re: Winter projects
Stuart, just a thought.
Could you create an adapter that fits into the tank breather connection that would allow the returned flow to go in and still provide an upwards take off for the tank vent.

Re: Winter projects
Looks like there is a new guy in town, doesn't need a return line and doesn't need to scallop out the web on the inlet manifold!

Re: Winter projects
You probably already know this but Holley now own MSD and I think Mallory.
I'm running an eight stack arrangement on the the Hawk (yet to be road tested).
I've used the upper tank feed / breather as the return line for the fuel system.
I've added a breather into the short filler neck.
As the tank is quite small I'm going to try and run without a swirl pot at first.
