T289R South East – Biggin Hill and Shoreham Museums
05/09/2020 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
£5In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, T289R South East is planning a gentle tour taking in both of the two small museums at Biggin Hill and Shoreham Village, and the St George’s RAF Chapel of Remembrance at Biggin Hill, which record the heroic actions of RAF service personnel and aircraft associated with the momentous air battles over Kent in September 1940.
Meet at the Biggin Hill Memorial Museum café at 10.00am, or at the Shoreham Aircraft Museum around 12.30 to 1pm. Both museums are quite small but have nice cafés – or in the case of Shoreham, a tea room and tea gardens!
