Our recent appearance at the NEC Classic Motor Show was a resounding success. We were invited to appear in the prestigious Hall 1 alongside the AC Owners Club, the GT40 Enthusiasts Club and others.
Build-up day at the NEC
Phil’s work on the stand design came together perfectly, resulting in a stand-out stand with many compliments received. The stand was busy for the whole weekend, and new members were signed up on the spot!
Champagne and nibbles were served at 1pm on the Saturday and 50 goody-bags were given to visiting club members. It was great meeting you all – some for the first time, and some long-standing members stopped to chat.
Breakdown was achieved in about an hour, but collection by our courier of all the stand parts took a further two due his van not being let into the hall. After a few very cold hours of waiting the breakdown team finally headed for home at 9pm.
Thanks go to many people for making this event such a success.
